Tall Trees, Tall People was first published in May 2005.  More than 2500 copies have been purchased.  It has been of extra interest to history buffs, but many feel it is just a good read.  It is an historical book about the life of Grace and Grover Southwell.  It gives a real feel of what life was like in the early 1900s when the last of the old growth forests were being harvested in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.

Price of Pride was first published in March 2009 and has sold more than 250 copies.  It covers the life of Grace and Grover’s son, Rex.  He acknowledges being rebellious at times and tells of the hardships brought on by his indiscretions.    

Books can be purchased from other sources.  Bookstores will order them, however, they are not stocked.  The advantage of ordering at Southwell.net is that any books ordered will be in stock and will be autographed by the author.
