Friday, January 1, 2010 at 12:53PM I don’t make New Years resolutions but I do have goals, or more correctly aspirations. I thought they might be of interest to some of you.
For myself, I will strive to be ever closer to my Lord and Savior and try to take as good care as possible of my mind and body.
I will attempt to do good to all people, especially to those of the household of faith and to my physical family.
My work goals in Florida are to finish 3 dressers for 3 of Phil’s daughters, make Christmas gifts for my 10 children and something nice for Ellie.
Work goals in Michigan are to finish thinning the woodlot across the driveway from my house and finish cutting the ironwood on Del’s property as far south as Priests Pond.
No connection to the above but today I plan virtually nothing in the garage but hope to clean the car, clean out the flower beds and fertilize the flowers, and put away my Christmas star. The afternoon will be relaxed as I watch football and if the spirit so moves get the first of the year bills paid and put stuff away. Almost certainly the latter items will be postponed.
I wish each of you a happy, healthy, fruitful and prosperous New Year. It all begins with our relationship with our Lord and Savior.
